Israeli Warplanes Raid Villages In South Lebanon

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 2 (KUNA) -- Israeli Occupation warplanes raided the villages of Al-Bustan and Al-Zalloutiah in southern Lebanon on Tuesday killing one man, the official National News Agency said.
The warplanes broke the sound barrier as they roared in two sorties over Al-Nabatiya and Iqlim Al-Tuffah. They also appeared and maneuvered over the port city of Sidon, Jezzine located inland, the Shouf mountains northeast of Sidon and Marjeyoun, deep in the south.
South Lebanon and some areas deep in the country have been witnessing offensives since early October when gunmen from Gaza burst into a chain of the occupation's settlements.
The Lebanese resistance says it has been skirmishing with the occupation forces in support of the Palestinians in Gaza who have been under the occupation's aggression since early October. (end)
