Turkish Karmod finishes prefabricated steel villas project in Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN) Karmod, a Turkish building company, announced the successful completion and delivery of a prefabricated steel villa project in the Saudi Arabian city of Abha, according to a statement released on Wednesday. The project involved the construction of three two-story residences, tailored to meet the demand for spacious living in the region.
The villas vary in size, with two units covering 370 square meters each, and a third unit spanning 354 square meters. Designed to accommodate Saudi expectations, the ground floors feature 3+1 configurations, while the upper floors offer larger 4+1 residential layouts.
"In Saudi Arabia, there is a significant demand for spacious living areas. In this project, we designed the spaces according to the country's expectations,” noted Karmod's Foreign Trade Manager Ziya Yanik, emphasizing the tailored approach to meet local preferences.
Highlighting the project's specifics, Yanik mentioned that the interior space of each villa totals 370 square meters, further enhanced by additional features such as verandas, expanding the total area.
Addressing the climatic considerations unique to Abha, known for its elevated location at 2,270 meters (7,448 feet) and mild, rainy climate distinct from the rest of Saudi Arabia, Yanik underscored the company's careful planning. "We took these features into account while preparing the steel house project,” he stated, emphasizing Karmod's commitment to adapting construction methods to local environmental conditions.
The completion of this project highlights Karmod's capabilities in delivering customized prefabricated housing solutions tailored to specific regional needs, contributing to the residential landscape in Saudi Arabia's diverse climatic zones.
