Panama Canal - 32 Ships Daily In June, 34 Ships In July, And October Normal Traffic Levels

(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Drought-hit Panama Canal expects to resume normal traffic levels in October, says an official from the Canal.
The Panama Canal restricted the number of ships crossing daily due to months of severe drought.
The Canal's Authority recently announced it will increase the maximum number of ships traveling the waterway to 34 per day in July, two more than now, as the rainy season is currently in full swing in Panama.
In fact, the rains of June are causing flooding and landslides in various parts of the country with severe amounts of rainfall.
