Four Palestinians Killed Eight Others Injured By Israeli Forces' Gunfire In Ramallah-Area Village

Four Palestinians were killed, and eight others were injured tonight by Israeli forces' gunfire near the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah.

Local sources said that an Israeli special force fired live bullets at a vehicle near the village of Kafr Ni'ma, killing four Palestinians. The army kept hold of their bodies.

Shortly before that, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a brief statement that its crews received a call about several injuries after Israeli forces opened fire at a vehicle near the village of Kafr Ni'ma.

The shooting was followed by an army incursion into the village, which led to the outbreak of confrontations.

The Ministry of Health added that eight other people were injured by the forces' live fire during the confrontations. They were transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, where their injuries were described as minor to moderate.

The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) announced a general strike in the Ramallah governorate tomorrow in condemnation of the Israeli occupation's assassination of the four Palestinians.

A general strike is observed today in Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities
in protest against the Israeli occupation assault on
Kafr Ni'ma village, west of Ramallah, which resulted in the killing of four Palestinians.

Sources said that shops were shuttered and life came to a standstill as calls were made for people to take part in protests and demonstrations in support of detainees in occupation jails.
