Minister Of Public Works, Municipality Amends Articles To Address Recurring Issues

KUWAIT, June 4 (KUNA) -- Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Municipality Affairs Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan issued a resolution on Tuesday amending construction regulations, allowing for more flexibility and addressing recurring issues in private residence.
The amendment came for certain articles within ministerial resolution 206 for the year 2009 on regulations and specifications of private and model residences, specified a Ministry-issued statement.
This is to keep pace with architectural development, facilitate the construction process for citizens, and accommodate their needs and demands, and is also an implementation of municipal council decision, read the statement.
The resolution came after much deliberation and efforts by the state's municipality and the municipal council, and will be put into practice as soon as it is issued in the state's official gazette. (end)
