(MENAFN- AsiaNet News) Disney Plus Hotstar has started streaming its second OTT web series in Malayalam on October 25. The new web series, titled as Masterpeace stars Sharafudheen and Nithya Menen in the lead roles.
The series was directed by Sreejith N , the writer of Bro Daddy. The series tells an interesting family story
Unique characters are what make this series special. Nithya Menen plays an expressive character named Rhea. Sharafudheen portrays a character known as Balancing Binoy. Shanthi Krishna takes on the role of Lizamma, who is a quiet character. Renji Panicker plays Chandichan, a character who doesn't speak. Ashoka plays Kuryachan, who is like a godfather in the story. Mala Parvathi plays the adoptive mother.
While Sreejith N. is the director of the series, Praveen S Cheruthara is the writer who acclaimed fame for 'Chirakodinja Kinavukal'.
The languages in which the series would be streamed are Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali and Marathi. The release date is known to be September 8 for which the audience is waiting excitedly. There has also been unconfirmed news that '1000+ Babies', another web series starring Neena Gupta, Rahman, Madhuvudha, Suraj Venjarammudu, Shwetha Menon, AND Kalabhavan Shajon is going to be announced soon.
