Earthquake crumples constructions in eastern China

(MENAFN) District press stated that more than 21 people were wounded as well as dozens of constructions crumpled when a shallow 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit eastern China in the initial hours of Sunday.

The United States Geological Survey stated that the quake happened at 2.33am domestic time around 26 kilometers south of the town of Dezhou in Shandong district, at a depth of 10KM.

Footages uploaded on social media displayed trembling light fixtures, shaking ground as well as people running away from their constructions.

"The tremor was so strong... during the earthquake my head was shaking on the pillow, I thought I was having a nightmare," one person uploaded on social media podium Weibo from Shandong's neighboring Hebei district.

The USGS's Pager structure, which gives initial calculations on the influence of earthquakes, released a red alert – approximating general harm and some fatalities were likely based on former quake info.
