Kfas Honors Outstanding High School Students


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 18 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) has honored outstanding Kuwaiti high school students.
In a press release Tuesday, head of KFAS Dr. Amina Farhan said the annual honoring ceremony comes upon directives of His Highness the crown princesheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, chairman of KFAS, in support of Kuwait's youth; the country's pillars of progress and renaissance.
Farhan stressed keenness of KFAS, through its varied programs and centers, on disseminating proper scientific culture and creating an appropriate environment to support science and knowledge, as well as research.
She noted the foundation's belief in youth's ability to achieve the country's foremost ambitions, as they are the foundation of sustainable development. (end)
