Ambassador Al-Mohammad Opens Kuwait Embassy In Dublin

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) LONDON, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- Ambassador Mohammad Al-Mohammad submitted on Thursday his credentials to the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins as the first Ambassador of Kuwait to Ireland.
During the ceremony, he announced the opening of the first Kuwait Embassy in Dublin in a step meant to improve the bilateral relations.
Al-Mohammad conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to the Irish President.
For his part, President Higgins expressed his thanks and pride for the opening of the Kuwaiti embassy pointing to the common interests. (end)
