(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADEN, Dec 28 (KUNA) -- Yemeni Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari reiterated Wednesday appreciation of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition support to the legitimate Yemeni government.
This remark was made by Minister Al-Daari during his reception in Aden today of the new commander of the Arab coalition forces in Aden Brigadier General Hussein Al-Harbi.
During the meeting, the minister stressed that the Yemeni people will not forget the brothers in the leadership of the coalition and their historical stand by Yemen and its people in various stages and circumstances.
He reviewed the military situation in light of 'the terrorist escalation of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia and its repeated targeting of national installations and international navigation routes, and its refusal to heed peace calls'.
The minister stressed the importance of exerting more efforts and coordination to face the challenges ahead and to ensure that terrorist attacks are deterred and dealt with full strength and firmness. (end)
