(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's cabinet on Monday assigned a number of officials to leadership positions across government bodies, including naming Fatma Al-Salem as the director general of state-run Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The new appointments, all of which will be referred to His Highness the Amir, pending his approval, also see retired Lieutenant-General Sheikh Faisal Al-Sabah as the deputy chief of the National Guard and Yousef Al-Baidan as the director general of Kuwait's Public Authority for Sport, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Barak Al-Shaitan told KUNA.
Two Information Ministry officials will now serve as assistant undersecretaries, with Turkie Al-Mutairi and Salem Al-Watyan filling the role, added the minister. (end) jy.nam
