Abu Dhabi, UAE: Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children, a Mubadala Health partner, has unveiled its exciting calendar of events for October to raise awareness around breast cancer and the importance of early detection and screening.
Recent global studies have revealed that physical activity can help reduce the risk of breast cancer in women. In support of this, and in order to spread awareness amongst their members and the general public, Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children is collaborating with prominent fitness establishments in Abu Dhabi to launch a series of programs during the month of October.
In addition to the numerous events being launched, the women and children's hospital is also offering complimentary screenings alongside another Mubadala Health Partner, HealthPlus Fertility at The Galleria Mall to educate women on how to perform self-examinations, the importance of early detection, and fertility preservation options. These sessions will run from 7-9 October during mall hours at the Women's Wellness Booth located on the Ground Floor.
Complimentary mammograms will also take place at Danat Al Emarat during the month of October.

The 11th Annual ADCB Zayed Sports City Pink Run in partnership with Danat Al Emarat Hospital is back again, with proceeds from the run donated to the Al Jalila Foundation for Breast Cancer Initiatives. Get your friends and family together to participate in the 3km, 5km or 10km run.
