Hlt Min. Opens Ophthalmic Surgery Dept. At Al-Jahra Hospital
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 4 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed inaugurated Tuesday an ophthalmic surgery department at Al-Jahra New Hospital.
The move comes is as part of the ministry's plan to provide comprehensive, integrated services to citizens, Minister Al-Saeed said in press statement, noting that this is a step towards decentralizing health services.
On her part, head of the newly-inaugurated department, Dr. Ohoud Al-Khalifa said the department is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies for early diagnosis and conducting various types of specialized surgeries. (end)
