(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Oct 04, 2022, SPA -- The symposium, entitled 'Saudi Arabia on the World Heritage Map', which is held within the cultural activities, accompanying the Riyadh International Book Fair 2022, has discussed the future of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, capabilities and its global leadership in the field of heritage preservation and its sustainability, in the presence of a group of people interested in Saudi heritage and antiquities.
The participants reviewed the importance of cultural heritage in Saudi Arabia at the national and global levels, in line with the goals of its vision 2030.
The participants also reviewed Saudi Arabia's recent interest in underwater heritage, and what underwater explorations can add to the Saudi cultural heritage and how to exploit them.
The symposium also went over the strategy of the Heritage Society and the importance of marketing it in the media.
