Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan region reaches lowest inflation level


(MENAFN) An analysis of the most recent statistical data issued by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) indicates that Sistan-Baluchestan region with 36.6 percent registered the worst inflation level in the twelve-month span of time ended on August 22, which indicates the end of the fifth Iranian calendar month Mordad.

The highest 12-month inflation rate is associated to Kohgiloyeh-Boyer Ahmad district with 47.8 percent, as shown by the SCI’s statistics.

The SCI has put the average inflation level in the twelve-month span of time closed on August 22 at 41.5 percent, surging one percent from the number for the twelve-month ended to the fourth month.

The center put the nation’s point-to-point inflation level at 52.2 percent in the fifth month, which means families have spent an average of 52.2 percent higher for buying the same package of commodities and facilities in that month, in comparison with the same month in the prior year.
