Doha: Qatar continues to experience cloudy weather conditions and scattered rain, which may turn thundery at times. On its recent weather update, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) reported that the northeast part of Qatar received scattered rain this morning.
The Department also issued a marine warning and urged everyone to avoid marine activities during this period as sea heights will range from 4 to 8 ft. These marine activities include free swimming, boat trips, scuba diving, free diving, surfing, fishing tours and wind surfing.
The department recently announced that the country will experience weather fluctuations which began yesterday evening, July 26, and will last until the end of the week.
Qatar is expected to witness an increase in the amount of clouds due to the extension of a low-pressure system. Partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions are predicted to prevail during the given period.
