Omani trade delegation to take official trip to Tehran next week

(MENAFN) An Omani trade delegation is planned to take a trip to Iran in the upcoming Iranian calendar week (begins on Saturday), Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari declared on Monday.

The official made the comments while stating his approval with the outcomes of many problems accepted by the two nations’ combined financial committee.

As declared last month by the chief of Iran-Oman Mutual Chamber of Commerce, a special barter system is going to be agreed on, in exchange among the two nations.

Mohsen Zarabi made the comments noting the 145-percent expansion in exchange among the two nations in the opening two months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21), against the same two months in the last year.

Zarabi has also stated that the exchange among Iran and Oman is estimated to stand at USD2 billion by the end of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2023).
