Israeli Is 'Destroying Plans For A Two-State Solution' - Arab League


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, May 26 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit assured on Thursday that circumstances in occupied Palestinian territories is approaching a critical point and is 'destroying plans for a two-state solution', due to Israel's continued aggravating acts.
A statement by the Arab League said that Abul-Gheit, following his meet with Jibril Rajoub Fatah's Secretary General, revealed that the conditions on Palestinian territories are only proving that handling the conflict will lead to no solution, instead its actually stimulating conflict and violence.
Rajoub's proposals were perceived concerning the issue of Israel's plans to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque compound based on time and space, instead of amassing settlement expansion, added Abul-Gheit.
Further discussions were also held on the issue of the project of temporal and spatial division of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as continued aggression by the Israeli forces commences in addition to what challenges lie ahead for the Palestinian people regarding this matter as a two-state solution seems in vain.
