Amman, Apr. 27 (Petra)--The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has renewed Royal Jordanian (RJ)'s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate for 2022, which reflects RJ's operational operations efficiency and its commitment to achieving the highest levels of air safety.
RJ Vice Chairman & CEO Samer Majali, congratulated the RJ team on maintaining IOSA' certificate since 2004, which is a recognition of RJ's operations excellence, with the 'best' diligence and professionalism levels, and its implementation of local and international procedures aimed to achieve a high degree of air and ground safety.
Renewal of the IOSA certificate, which will continue to be effective until 2024, is an achievement to RJ, and an assessment of the extent of its compliance with the air safety procedures, in accordance with the IATA-approved international standards, Majali pointed out.
Noting the 'remarkable' efforts made by the RJ's employees to keep an exemplary safety record, he said safety standard for passengers, workers and aircraft has always been and will remain a top RJ priority.
The IOSA audit was conducted by a team of auditors from Aviation Quality Services GmbH (AQS), an IATA-accredited audit organization. It was conducted against a checklist of safety standards and recommended practices for all the operational departments.
