
Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka exceed 100,000 this year
Colombo, Nov 30 (DailyMirror) – More than 100,000 tourists have visited the country from January to November 28 this year, the Tourism Ministry said.
Accordingly, 101,872 tourists arrived from January 1 to November 28 this year and 41,177 tourists have arrived in the country from November 1 to Sunday (28).

According to the Tourism Development Authority, the highest number of tourists have arrived from India this month.
A total of 13,368 tourists have arrived in the country from India in November this year while the second-highest number of tourist arrival of 3,449 reported from Russia in the last 28 days after India.
In addition, tourists have arrived from the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Germany, the Maldives, France, the United States, Canada and Australia.
