Google and Amazon staff ask companies to abolish pact with Israel

(MENAFN) “We are Google and Amazon workers. We condemn Project Nimbus.” That is the title of an open letter prepared by Google and Amazon staff who preferred to have their names hidden for worries of vengeance.

“We’ve joined together as workers across corporate lines for the first time to send a joint letter Tuesday calling on Google and Amazon to respect Palestinian human rights and cancel Project Nimbus.” Gabriel Schubiner, software engineer and investigator at Google and Bathool Syed, content planner at Amazon, included in an op-ed on NBC News.

The document which is inked by approximately 1,000 workers at Amazon and over 600 at Google, urges the two firms to withdraw Project Nimbus and eliminate all connections with the Israeli military.
