Turkey's benchmark stock index ends Friday at 1,468.67 points
(MENAFN) on Friday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,468.67 points, dropped 0.71 percent from the last close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 10.45 points from Thursday's close of 1,479.12 points, after opening the day at 1,480.53 points.
During the day, the index's lowest rate stood at 1,464.80 points, as its daily high reached 1,482.11 points.
With a daily trading rate of 12.2 billion Turkish liras (USD1.5 billion), the total market rate of the BIST 100 amounted at almost 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD134 billion) by market end.
An amount of 33 stocks on the index increased, 59 dropped, and eight were unchanged in comparison to Thursday's close.
