Students in Rwanda infected with corona-virus to sit national examinations under health rules


(MENAFN)According to Rwanda’s education ministry, students being treated for coronavirus under home-based care in the country are to sit their national examinations under severe health rules.

In rules, the ministry stated that all examination centers are going to arrange a separate examination room that is going to be sterilized daily for these students.

The National Examination and School Inspection Authority declared that sums of 452,053 applicants across Rwanda are likely to sit their national examinations, with written and practical exams, from June to July.

On July 12, the first written exams, the three-day primary level examinations begin after ordinary level ones and others.

The ministry also added that students under home-based care will be with their parents or relatives when coming from and going back home and those who "don't feel well enough" is not going to be permitted to sit the examinations.
