Bangladesh receives its first shipment of 2M Sinopharm vaccines
(MENAFN)Bangladesh Foreign Ministry stated that the country took its first batch of 2 million Chinese Sinopharm Coronavirus vaccines under commercial procurement.
The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka further declared that an amount of 1.1 million vaccines delivered as the remainder will arrive as vaccines carrying flights left Beijing.
China gave 1.1 million Sinopharm vaccines as a gift to Dhaka, and Bangladesh is now inoculating under a mass vaccination campaign that started in February.
Bangladesh inked a non-disclosure deal to obtain about 10.5 million vaccines from China.
