Egypt- Low supply prompts Kia Cerato to join over priced vehicles list

(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) The shortage in supply of Kia Cerato 2021 model vehicles means it has now joined the list of over priced vehicles available in the Egyptian market. This coincides with the increase in demand for the model during the current period.

Alaa Al-Sebaa, member of the Automobile Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), said that some distributors and dealers have imposed new increases on the Kia Cerato. This has come even over the officially suggested price announced by the dealer.

Sabaa pointed out that the Kia Cerato's overpricing ranges from between EGP 5,000 and EGP 10,000, depending on the class and colour of the car.

The Kia Cerato 2021 is available in the Egyptian market under four different equipment categories, starting from EGP 300,000 for the first category. The second category is available for EGP 335,000, while the third is EGP 365,000, and the fourth is EGP 395,000.

It is noteworthy that the overpricing on vehicles reflects a sum of money that distributors add to the official price specified or suggested by the agent. This takes place as a result of the increased demand for the car with its limited supply in the market.
