Mongolia confirms zero new COVID-19 cases
(MENAFN) Mongolia confirms zero new coronavirus case in the earlier 24 hours, with the total number of infections across the country remained at 193, the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) said on Sunday, June 7th.
NCCD's head Dulmaa Nyamkhuu said at a daily press briefing that "The NCCD conducted 217 COVID-19 tests at three laboratories across the country on Saturday, and the results were all negativ."
According to the official, all the reported cases, as four foreigners, were imported, mostly from Russia. No internal transmissions or deaths have been confirmed in the country so far.
Nyamkhuu added that 4 more recoveries have been registered from the virus, pushing the total number of recoveries to 75.
