Ali Al-Kharafi wins two titles at Kuwait's Amir Equestrian Cup


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Horse Rider Ali Al-Kharafi was able to clinch two titles on Friday, as part of Highness the Amir Cup Showjumping Championship, which kicked off at the track of the equestrian sport club yesterday.
Al-Kharafi won first place in the 140 cm height jump competition.
In another category for the intermediate, Al-Kharafi won first place in the 130 cm height jump.
Al-Kharafi expressed to reporters afterwards, his utmost joy and happiness for the victories, stressing that winning the titles in His Highness the Amir Cup has a special place to his heart, affirming that all riders want to make similar achievements in this Cup.
The competition featured nearly 600 male and female equestrians from Kuwait and some other countries.
Last night, Rakan Al-Hasawi won the first place in 135 cm showjumping category followed by his compatriot Abdullah Al-Rawdan and Iran's Ghazi Al-Gerioy. (end)
