Boko Haram terrorists killed in Nigerian airstrike

An Air Force spokesman of the Nigerian army said on Saturday that an airstrike that was launched in Sambisa forest in Borno state of northeaster Nigera has left many Boko Haram terrorists dead.

Ibikunle Daramola, spokesman of the NAF, released a statement saying that the airstrike took place on Wednesday as a plane of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) struck a Boko Haram gun truck with many terrorists in the forest.

The terrorists were using the forest as hideout who were planning to launch an attack on nearby troops, some of the terrorists were spotted pushing another vehicle to a place in the area.

Multiple NAF fighter aircrafts have struck the spots of the terrorists, which left many of them dead and destroyed many buildings and structures belonging to the Boko Haram fighters, the official added without giving out further details on how many fighters were killed.
