Brazil targets Chinese investments

(MENAFN) Brazil was announced to be planning to encourage more investments from China as Sao Paulo Governor Joao Doria heads on a trip to the country.

Representatives from 35 Brazilian firms will be joining that governor as the country seeks to achieve further Chinese investments.

Doria will be looking to showcase 21 infrastructure, technology, and services projects, worth USD7 billion, during the visit.

He noted that "our office in Shanghai will also seek to expand opportunities for Chinese companies in Brazil. It will be an agency that supports Chinese investors in finding opportunities in Sao Paulo."
