Kuwaiti beats up Afghan car mechanic inside a garage


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, May 21: An unidentified Kuwaiti has been detained for interrogation for assaulting an Afghan car mechanic inside a garage in the Jahra Industrial Area, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, this happened when the Kuwaiti got the car repaired, paid the mechanic and went his way. A few days later the same problem cropped up and the Kuwaiti returned to the mechanic and accused him of not repairing the car to his satisfaction. At the point, both men were involved in an argument and the Kuwaiti lost his temper and assaulted the mechanic.


Two Egyptians assaulted: Two Egyptians have filed complaints with the Khaldiya Police Station accusing a Kuwaiti of beating them, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the trio – the Kuwaiti and the two Egyptians – works in one of the departments of the Hawalli Education Area and they were involved in an argument which developed into a fight and the Kuwaiti assaulted them causing them minor injuries. Both men have submitted medical reports to substantiate their claims. The Kuwaiti has been summoned for interrogation.
