While the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is months away from becoming official, the rumor mill has already started churning out key details about the flagship device.

According to a report, the successor to Mate 20 Pro will arrive with a brand-new Kirin 985 chipset, quad cameras, and industry-leading 55W fast charging which debuted on the company's foldable marvel, the Mate X.

As per the report, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will feature a bigger 6.71-inch OLED display as against Mate 20 Pro's 6.39-inch QHD+ OLED panel. The display is also said to be curved on all four sides.

However, it remains unclear if the phone will feature a punch hole design or a smaller notch than one seen on its predecessor.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to feature quad-lens rear camera setup, similar to the recently launched DSLR-killer P30 Pro.

Hence, we can expect the upcoming flagship to offer a standard lens, a periscope telephoto lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a Time of Flight (ToF) camera.

Up front, the phone is likely to offer single selfie snapper, like the Mate 20 Pro.

Reportedly, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will debut the recently announced HiSilicon Kirin 985 chipset. The all-new 7nm processor is said to feature built-in Balong 5000 modem, making all future Huawei flagships 5G ready.

Under the hood, the phone is tipped to house a 4,200mAh battery and support 55W SuperCharge fast-charging technology that is currently exclusive to the $2,600 worth Mate X foldable phone.
