Jordan- 200,000 narcotic pills found hidden under rocks


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 28 (Petra)-The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel in Mafraq governorate confiscated around 200,000 narcotic pills found hidden under rocks in the northern Badia region, a security source said on Sunday.

The AND agents received a tip-off indicating that several suspects had hidden an amount of narcotics under the rocks in the northern Badia region, the source said.

The AND followed up on the tip-off and scanned the area located in the northern Badia area, where they found the 200,000 pills hidden between rocks, the source added.

Investigations are under way to identify and arrest all those involved the case, the security source noted.
