Original song was sung by Mohammad Rafi, the tune was set by Chitragupt and the lyrics were written by Majrooh Sultanpuri.
Sri Lankan singer Haroon Lantra singing the Sinhalese version: "Mage Namali". It featured in the 1973 film "Gopalu Handa" starring D.R.Nanayakkara, Jeevarani Kurukulasuriya and Tony Ranasinghe. Directed by R.Venkat it had music by Muthuswamy master.
