Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Greece in the coming days, Turkish media cited the country's Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu as saying on November23.
'This visit is important in the history of the two countries as none of the Turkish presidents visited Greece over the past 65 years, Cavusoglu added. 'As a neighboring country, Turkey intends to develop relations with Greece.
Turkey and Greece have a disagreement over Cyprus. For the last time, Turkish President Jelal Bayar visited Athens in 1952.
