Michael is a 27 year veteran of business development, his career having been largely focused on electronics and power technologies, both B2C and B2B. From his degree in Applied Science (Electronics) to his executive level experience, his career has been marked by significant accomplishments, including $180M+ in direct sales and involvement in $3B+ project development.
In 2009, he began to investigate methods by which items could be protected from hail damage. After designing several prototypes, he filed his first provisional patent for a device in May 2010.
In 2011, Michael reached out to a hail storm reporting company, Hail Reporter,, where he met Steven Krug, because of his vision for how an early warning and hail detection system should be an essential companion service to the device, providing an ideal customer experience. In 2012, Michael filed the Utility Patent for The Hail Protector System. In March, 2015, the Utility Patented was published by the USPTO (US 8,985,672).

With broad general management accomplishments, he has achieved measurable successes within the tech, capital equipment, consumer electronics, and web services markets.
For six years he has shared these experiences by being the founder of his own consulting practice that specializes in coaching small and mid-size business owners on becoming stronger leaders through strategic thinking.
He is also a co-founder of Thinkulus Media, LLC, whose Hail Reporter web application reset the bar for hailstorm alerting in 2010 and soon became his full time passion. Some of his other credits include technology/product development and patent licensing, building unique retail categories, domestic and foreign acquisitions and mergers, IPO (FLIR Systems) and, board of directors positions in both for profit and non-profit.
