(MENAFN) Statistics showed a drop in the number of tourists visiting Turkey by 40% in June, which is the lowest this year, because of the attacks and previous tensions with Russia.
This fall will cause worry for many workers in the tourism industry that is because June usually is the start of the summer tourism season. Last year, this industry equipped the revenues by USD 35.1b.
Moreover, the tourism ministry reported in its latest release that 2.43 million tourists visited Turkey in June, down by 40.86% in 2015.
