Huge hauls of narcotics seized PSD

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Nov. 19 (Petra)-- Border guards and the anti-Narcotics agents seized 600000 Captagon tablets 120 kilograms of Cannabis and 20000 Tramadol pills that were prepared for smuggling inside the country from the northern frontier Public Security Department (PSD) said Thursday.

Following on a tip-off anti-Narcotics officers coordinated with the border guards and managed to determine time and location of smuggling in the substances from the northern border.

Officers seized the narcotics but did not make an arrest a the scene but investigations have led to the identification of 7 suspects involved in the case PSD added.

The suspects two of them Arab nationals are being questioned for more details.
