Sri Lankan shares end high


(MENAFN- NewsIn.Asia) Colombo, June 21 (newsin.asia) - Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.18 percent higher, amid a moderate market turnover on Thursday.

The All Share Price Index ended 6,299.06, up by 11.15 points.
The most active traders of the day were John Keels Holdings PLC, National Development Bank of Sri Lanka PLC and Piramal Glass Ceylon PLC.
The top gainers were SMB Leasing PLC, Asia Asset Finance Limited and Balangoda Plantations PLC.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs.416 million (an estimated 2.6 million US dollars) while foreign participation resulted in foreign sales of Rs.34 million (an estimated 212,000 US dollars).
