(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Hezbollah congratulated the Syrian command and people in a statement, on the fresh liberation of the Palestinian refugee camp of Yarmouk and the neighboring town of Hajar al-Aswad, from Daesh.

"The success of the Syrian army and its allies in eradicating Daesh from this area is a massive achievement," Hezbollah said in the statement.

"This is a new victory for the Resistance axis within the framework of its efforts to liberate the entire Syrian soil from assailants," it added.
