Lexus LX 570 launched in India at Rs 2.32 crore

Toyota's luxury car division Lexus has launched its flagship SUV, the LX 570, in India.
Sharing its underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200, the LX 570 enters the Indian market at a price of Rs. 2.32 crore (ex-showroom).
Notably, bookings for the car are now live at all Lexus dealerships across the country.

Exteriors
Like the Toyota Land Cruiser, the LX 570 is based on a ladder-on-frame chassis.
Featuring Lexus's L-finesse design language, it gets spindle front grille, L-shaped Triple LED headlights, wraparound LED taillights and flared wheel arches.
The LX 570 also gets four-wheel Active Height Control and Adaptive Variable Suspension.
The car has a ground clearance of 225mm and a combined mass of 3,400kg.

Interiors
The 7-seater Lexus LX 570 gets a dual-tone color theme finished in soft-touch materials and leather upholstery.
Inside the cabin, you get four-zone climate control, 10 airbags, leather upholstery, 10-way adjustable powered driver's seat, wireless charging and a heads-up display.
Moreover, you get 11.6-inch screens for the rear seat passengers, a 19-speaker Mark Levinson music system, temperature controlled seats, among other top-of-the-line luxury features.

Engine and Power
Powering the Lexus LX 570 is a 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine which generates 362 bhp of maximum power and 530 Nm of peak torque.
Paired to an eight-speed automatic powertrain that powers all four wheels, the LX 570 reached from 0-100kph in 7.7secs which is 0.9sec faster than its diesel sibling LX 450d.
The SUV offers a fuel capacity of 138 liters.

Driving modes
The Lexus LX 570 gets Multi-terrain Select mode which intelligently adjusts multiple systems of the car to tackle a range of conditions.
Likewise, in order to handle difficult off-road conditions, this luxurious SUX gets a 5-speed Crawl Control which automatically adjusts the torque and brakes on each wheel independently and thus allows the driver to focus on steering control.
