(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 24 (KUNA) -- Information Minister and State Minister for Youth Mohammad Al-Jabri said on Tuesday that Kuwait is keen to embrace its distinguished nationals, providing them with all forms of support needed to continue their successes on the global stage.
These moves fall in line with the directions of the political leadership, he was quoted as saying in a statement after meeting Kuwaiti world aquabike champion Yusuf Al-Abdalrazak.
Al-Abdalrazak was crowned champion in the GP1 event.
The minister praised Al-Abdalrazak's carreer accomplishments, including winning nine international titles at the senior professionals' level and on being the first Kuwaiti to be listed as a Guinness World Record holder in 2017.
