US court convicts militia men of plotting terror attack


(MENAFN) A court has convicted three men of plotting to carry out a bomb attack on Somali immigrants,who were at a mosque and apartment complex in the US state of Kansas.

A federal jury in Wichita pleaded Curtis Allen, aged 50, Gavin Wright, aged 49, and Patrick Eugene Stein, aged 49, guilty of being part of a militia called the Crusaders.

The men possessed weapons, and bombs, as they trio intended to hit a day after the US elections.

However, the Garden City attackers were cracked down by an FBI informant.
