Belarusian President urges firm observance of deals with Russia
(MENAFN) Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has sent an appeal for Russia to firmly abide by the deals struck between both nations for bilateral partnership to be fully realized.
The statement was made by the president in a message he delivered to both Belarusians and Russians for the Day of Unity of the Peoples of the Two Countries.
The president stated "co-operation between Belarus and Russia has great potential. In order to realize it fully, we must strictly abide by the agreements, to preserve and develop our achievements and common heritage."
He then noted "in the international arena, we are consolidated, making a significant contribution to the maintenance of peace and security."
