Los Angeles police rescues boy after 12 hours in sewer
(MENAFN) Los Angeles police rescues a boy,aged 13, who survived inside river of sewage,after he was drifted into the city's poisonous and maze-like underground sewer system for 12 hours.
Jesse Hernandez was playing with other kids on a wooden board which directly leads to a sewer system,amid family trip to a Los Angeles park.
A spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, Brian Humphrey declared that when the board broke, Jesse fell about eight meters,only to be swept by a quick sewage.
The first thing they heard was 'Help!',according to the assistant general manager of the sanitation department, Adel Hagekhalil.
