Kuwaiti business group nabs award for best Arab initiative
DUBAI, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti entrepreneur has won the "Mohammad Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders" for a project she innovated to support Arab youth's business ambitions.
Speaking to KUNA after a lavish awards ceremony attended by the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al-Makhtoum, the architect behind a Kuwaiti-made initiative known as "Al-Mubader", Abrar Al-Masoud, expressed her glee over winning the award.
She dedicated the award to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to all aspiring Kuwaiti entrepreneurs whose inventive ideas "give impetus to the national economy." On the project that has been carried out in a number of Gulf countries, Al-Masoud revealed that it was five years in the making, saying that the award was the culmination of stupendous efforts that resulted in the success of the project.
The "Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders" was established to reward exceptional entrepreneurs in the Arab region. (end) smr.nam
