(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The State AgencyonEnergy Efficiency of Ukraine and the National Directorate of Energy and Geology of Portugal will sign a memorandum of understanding on energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative fuels.
This is reported by the press service of the State AgencyonEnergy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.
"On December 18, within the framework of the official visit of Ukrainian President Poroshenko to Portugal, Chairman of the State Energy Efficiency AgencySerhiy Savchuk plans to take part in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Alternative Fuels between the State AgencyonEnergy Efficiency of Ukraine and the National Directorate of Energy and Geology of Portugal," the report reads.
The signing of the memorandum will initiate a close and effective cooperation between Ukraine and Portugal, which has great achievements in the development of clean energy.
"Ukraine and Portugal will be able to exchange the best practices in the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency, as well as work on the implementation of joint projects," the press service of the SAEE noted.
