(MENAFN) Last week, an American convict sentenced for drug charges broke out from Kerobokan prison, however on Friday, Indonesian police detained the escapee.
Police captured the 32 year old convicted identified as Christian Beasley on the neighboring island of Lombok following his prison break which was accomplished through climbing the prison wall.
BBC received a statement Monday from Kerobokan prison chief Tonny Nainggolan confirming "he got arrested on Friday in one of the homestays in Senggigi beach, Lombok. Right now, he (is) still under detention by the police for further investigation."
