Arianna Huffington denies allegations against Franken
(MENAFN) Following a photo that was taken in the year 2000 was published by The New York Post on Monday of Sen. Al Franken appearing as if making an inappropriate advance, Arianna Huffington came out to defend him by saying the image contains no improper behavior.
The co-founder of the Huffington Post issued a statement to the news outlet confirming "the notion that there was anything inappropriate in this photo shoot is truly absurd, newly surfaced pics show Al Franken grabbing Arianna Huffington's breasts and butt."
Franken has been accused that since he became a senator, he committed acts of misconduct at least once. However, Huffington insisted that the images were taken with the intention of recreating a TV sketch which she performed with Franken in 1996.
