Tencent: Asia's most valuable company
(MENAFN) As its shares closing at record high on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Monday, Tencent has become the most valuable company of Asia.
Its shares closed at 420 HKD a share, putting its market value at 510.7b USD, and becoming the 6th ranking company in market value worldwide.
It is also the first Asian company to exceed the 500b USD mark, as on Nov. 15 it listed its results of Q3 of the year of 9.825b USD, a 61% annual increase.
According the company's chairman and CEO, it recorded strong business growth in games, digital content, online ads and services payments.
