(MENAFN) Marking its 50th anniversary, AccorHotels will honor everyday heroes from firefighters, nurses, teachers to small businesses and residents who serve their communities, by inviting them to attend celebratory events, at 2,000 establishments around the world, including over 140 hotels in the Middle East and Africa.
This global celebration is an opportunity for AccorHotels, and its 250,000 employees, to recognize and thank the people who dedicate their lives to serving their communities by sharing a unique moment around a breakfast, a barbecue, a concert, or inviting many of them to stay a night as guests.
Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at AccorHotels Middle East & Africa, Olivier Granet said, "We felt that there was no better way to celebrate 50 years of operation than to honor the local heroes and residents in our communities around our hotels".
"We pride ourselves on the fact that AccorHotels plays an important part of the respective neighborhoods that we work and live in and we recognize the vital contribution that our neighbors have on our success as well providing enriching experiences of our guests", he added.
